How usage works

Chat with Fig as much as you want — chatting on the standard model is unlimited on every plan, subject to fair use. Usage applies when Fig works for you: running tasks, building websites and apps, generating media like images and video, and taking calls. Every plan includes a usage allowance for that kind of work — it refills automatically (daily on Free, monthly on paid plans), and you can watch it on the usage bar in Usage & Billing. Extended plans multiply the allowance (2×–5×) for heavier workloads. If you ever reach your limit, nothing is lost: you can keep chatting, and heavier work resumes when your allowance refills — or upgrade for more.
Choosing a lighter thinking mode for simple tasks is a great way to make your allowance go further.
