# Chat from your apps

> Talk to Fig from Slack, WhatsApp, Telegram, or iMessage — no need to open the app.

You don't always have to open Fig to use Fig. Connect a **messaging channel**, and
you can chat with Fig straight from the messaging apps you already live in.

## Available channels

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Slack" icon="slack">
    Add Fig to your workspace and message it right in Slack.
  </Card>

  <Card title="WhatsApp" icon="whatsapp">
    Reach Fig from WhatsApp, wherever you are.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Telegram" icon="telegram">
    Link your Telegram account and message Fig like any other contact.
  </Card>

  <Card title="iMessage" icon="comment">
    Connect iMessage and reach Fig right from your texts.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## How it works

Set up a channel from the Fig app, and from then on you can send Fig requests from
that messaging app — ask a question, kick off a task, or check on something. It's
the same Fig, with the same memory and projects, just reachable from wherever
you're already chatting.

<Note>
  You can point a channel at a specific [Super Agent](/features/super-agents) — so,
  for example, a support agent answers in one Slack channel while your main Fig
  handles your personal messages.
</Note>

<Tip>
  Channels pair nicely with [automations](/features/scheduled-tasks): set up a
  weekly digest, and read it right in your messages.
</Tip>
