# Welcome to Fig

> Learn what Fig is and how to get started.

Fig is an **AI that does the work for you**. Instead of learning complicated
tools, you tell Fig what you want — in plain words — and Fig plans it, builds it,
and hands you the finished result. Websites, documents, slides, images, and more,
from your phone or your browser.

Think of Fig as a capable teammate that's always available. You describe the goal,
Fig figures out the steps and gets it done. No code, no design experience, and no
technical know-how required.

## What makes Fig different

Most AI tools answer questions and then leave the actual work to you. Fig is built
